Spring Hill, Florida (November 25, 2016) – Oak Hill Hospital’s Associate Activity Committee held its 30th annual Thanksgiving food drive. The following six charities received boxes: Catholic Charities, Dawn Center, Great Life Church, Mid Florida Community Services/Head Start, St. Vincent DePaul, and the Salvation Army. A total of 91 boxes were disseminated this year of which 13 were provided to associate families.
“It is very rewarding to work with so many compassionate, caring, and giving individuals,” said Susan Leavy, chairman of the Associate Activity Committee. In making the announcement to Oak Hill Hospital’s associates, Susan also gave special thanks to Gina D’Ambrosio, FANS, Matt Devorak and Safet Selamaj, Radiology, who assisted with disseminating the food boxes on the loading dock and Chrisoula Kostreles, Marketing, for taking the photos.
